Viadesk becomes Fellow Community
Blog | Fellow News
Viadesk is now called Fellow Community. The platform remains the same: a digital environment for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and internal communication. In this article, you’ll learn why the name is changing and what this means for existing Viadesk users.
Since the early 2000s, we have supported organizations with Viadesk. What started as an intranet evolved into a trusted platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and online communities. For many organizations, Viadesk became a household name, synonymous with stability, simplicity, and engaged employees.
Over the years, we never stood still. The platform continuously evolved alongside the needs of everyday work: from a classic intranet to a modern community solution where believes connection, communication, and learning go hand in hand. And that development continues.
Why Fellow Community?
With the name Fellow Community, we make explicit what Viadesk has already become. The new name better reflects the role of the platform today and aligns more closely with our other solutions and our brand as Fellow Digitals, a brand built on inclusion, simplicity, and moving forward together.
Fellow Community is the heart of your organization. A place where people connect, share knowledge, and feel involved, regardless of role, location, or device.
Community wins: visible progress in 2025
The new name not only stands for recognition, but also for concrete progress. In 2025, together with our customers, we reached important milestones that show how the community solution continues to evolve in substance.
Accessible to everyone Fellow Community meets the WCAG 2.2 AA certification. This means the platform is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities or those using assistive technologies. An important step toward digital inclusion — and tangible proof that everyone counts is more than a promise.
Award-winning design and user experience Our community platform was awarded a Dutch Interactive Award (DIA) this year. The jury particularly praised the ease of use, the clear structure, and the strong focus on people rather than technology. A meaningful recognition of our vision of simplicity with impact.
Community in action: Diocese Community Days 2025 Another highlight was the Diocese Community Days 2025 in Amsterdam. Following last year’s successful event in Aachen, community managers, partners, and our team came together again this year to share experiences and look ahead.
Proud of what we have built together
“We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved together with our customers through Viadesk,” says CEO Mujibor de Graaf. “Thanks to their trust and feedback, the platform has grown into what it is today. Under the name Fellow Community, we will continue this success story — with the same energy, the same commitment, and the same focus on people.”
What does this mean for existing Viadesk customers?
Quite simply: nothing changes. Your platform remains the same, your trusted contacts stay the same, and development continues as always, just as you expect from us. The new name does not change our promise: a reliable platform that grows with your organization.
