Blog | Inclusiveness

We’re proud to announce a major achievement: Fellow LMS and Fellow Intranet have officially received WCAG 2.2 AA certification! This means our platforms now meet internationally recognized standards for digital accessibility — and we have the official (Dutch) report to prove it.
What does this certification mean?
The WCAG 2.2 AA certification is more than just a badge. It’s a powerful affirmation of our commitment to building digital solutions that are inclusive and accessible to everyone, regardless of physical or cognitive abilities.
As more organizations — especially in the public sector — are required to comply with accessibility regulations, this certification allows us to confidently support our customers in creating fully compliant and inclusive digital environments.
About WCAG 2.2 AA
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) are developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and serve as the global standard for digital accessibility. Version 2.2 is the latest update, adding new success criteria to better support users with cognitive impairments and improve navigation across devices.
The AA level is the standard most organizations aim for. It covers essential aspects such as:
Keyboard navigation – ensuring all content is fully usable without a mouse.
Sufficient color contrast – making text and UI elements easy to read.
Visible focus indicators – showing users where they are on the page.
Clear instructions and error messages – improving the usability of forms and interactive elements.

What this means for our customers
For our customers, this certification means they can rely on a platform that meets the highest standards of accessibility. It helps organizations comply with legislation and contributes to a better user experience for all learners and employees.
Looking ahead
Accessibility is not a checkbox — it’s an ongoing commitment. This certification marks a major step forward, and we will continue to invest in inclusive technology so that everyone can participate fully in the digital world.
